Necesita mucho alimento dif\u00edcil de proveer.<\/p><p><strong>Conveniencia y Compatibilidad con el acuario de arrecife:<\/strong> Mejor mantenidos s\u00f3lo por acuaristas avanzados, ya que \u00a0los espec\u00edmenes cautivos\u00a0 generalmente morir\u00e1n de hambre en un per\u00edodo de entre 6 meses a un a\u00f1o.<\/p><p><strong>Cuidado Cautivo:<\/strong> Esta especie necesita un acuario que tenga altos niveles de calcio e infusiones regulares de fitoplancton peque\u00f1o. Dadas estas condiciones, es capaz de una larga vida. Las corrientes fuertes a moderadas son necesarias. La corona del tent\u00e1culo est\u00e1 compuesta por dos h\u00e9lices de 3 o 4 espirales. Los tallos del tent\u00e1culo y los tallos de cada &#8220;pluma&#8221; tienden a ser de color rojo, rosa fuerte o rosa durazno. Los filamentos de plumas suelen ser blancos u ocasionalmente rosados.
